We’ll be at The Print Room on tomorrow shooting some interviews for a new dance show that will be on in February 2012. It’s a brilliant new (it’s been open a year) theatre in London’s Notting Hill and the show looks fantastic. Really looking forward to it!
Having had our first short film ‘Memory Loss’ shortlisted and nominated for three awards at this year’s festival we made our way to Bristol last weekend. And in the time honoured tradition of a contestant on Bullseye who doesn’t win the speedboat, we had ‘a lovely day’. Ultimately, it wasn’t really about winning, it was the greatest feeling to just be in with a shout against some real quality films. ‘Memory Loss’ was our first short and it was shot with no crew – James had to pull the dolly whilst doing some crying-acting! Just think ‘what we could have won’ if we had a budget – next year we’ll return and hopefully bring back a speedboat/equivalent prize given out by the festival.
The bags are packed, the business cards are ready – just need a few hours sleep before we board the 8am train from Paddington to Bristol. Our little short film ‘Memory Loss’ is going to be screened at the Encounters Film Festival and we’re up for all sorts of awards. We’re so happy to be in the running & fingers crossed we’ll come back to London with a prize!
Good Plan Gone To Waste will be released on Monday 21st November. Here’s a preview of half of James Noon’s face – you’ll have to watch the video to see the other half!
Another image from James Noon’s forthcoming music video – released on Monday 21st November. The very talented May Phillips plays ‘Molly’ who is caught up in a dangerous game of betrayal and deception.
With the launch of James Noon’s new music video on Monday 21st November. We wanted to give a taste of the video shoot – without giving too much away. A very special thanks to the brilliant Andrew Macklin who allowed us to tie him up in a basement for a couple of hours.
In July 2011 Nothin or Double Films opened its doors and shot a music video for the very talented singer/songwriter James Noon latest single ‘Good Plan Gone To Waste’. We are very happy to announce that the song and the video will be available to download from Monday 21st November.
The video features a wonderful cast including: May Phillips, Andrew Macklin, Dominic Stephens and, of course, James Noon.
